I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from University of Findlay and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Bowling Green State University. My work history includes United States Air Force and law enforcement.
I have a variety of experience in my background, but my primary focus is working with adults specifically dealing with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, trauma, and managing relationships.
From a theoretical standpoint I integrate a variety of treatment approaches to best meet the unique needs of each client. These include but are not limited to cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
As well as Gottman couples’ therapy which places importance on problem-solving and focuses on the here-and-now actions of the client and the ability to create and choose a better future.
